My approach highlights how relationships and the environment interact to affect early childhood mental and behavioral health. Starting early allows us to focus on what is emerging so we can prepare, adapt, and respond with purpose. I integrate the principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with the framework of Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) to understand the whole child. Neural connections form rapidly during the early years, driving young children’s behavior and the emergence of skills, making this the most effective time for intervention. Research shows that high‑quality early intervention and early education can significantly strengthen a child’s developmental path, leading to greater gains that are harder to achieve later in life.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based treatment grounded in the science of learning and behavior. Through ABA therapy, children with behavioral or developmental needs receive treatment to teach skills and reduce problem behavior. Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) is an evidence-based field that focuses on supporting children from birth to age five as they develop the capacity to form relationships, manage emotions, and explore their world.

With over a decade of experience in early intervention and behavior analysis, as well as in professional development training, I have worked with hundreds of families and professionals to teach evidence-based strategies that help young children thrive at home, in the classroom, and in the community. I am committed to supporting family members, key caregivers, and early childhood professionals so they feel supported.
